The purpose of DANAIM is to promote the interest of the members within the field of computer science and applied mathematics and to serve as the representative of Danish research institutions in ERCIM.

DANAIM intends to contribute to the fulfillment of the purposes set out by ERCIM, specifically to provide representatives to ERCIM's executive committee, board of directors and editorial board. DANAIM intends to become a member of ERCIM.

Furthermore the purpose of DANAIM is to foster collaboration within the Danish and the European research communities and to increase co-operation with industry.
